The original LickiMat

LickiMats are a vet designed product for serving food or treats and encouraging your dog to lick. The textured surface stimulates the tongue, increasing saliva production helping to protect teeth and gums. The licking action also releases endorphins helping to calm and soothe your dog.

LickiMats make great enrichment tools offering the perfect surface to serve a variety of food and treats, extending eating time and relieving anxiety or boredom. Ideal for times your dog has to be left alone or for a distraction in times of stress such as thunderstorms or injury treatment.

LickiMats can also be used as an alternative to a bowl to slow eating rate and improve digestion. To further extend eating time you can freeze food, liquid or treats on the mat.

Why we picked them:

  • Reduces anxiety, boredom and unwanted behaviour
  • Slows feeding rate and improves digestion
  • Encourages licking releasing endorphins
