PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE WEBSITE AND PLACING AN ORDER. BY PLACING AN ORDER YOU INDICATE THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS.

 

Contract

When you place an order with us, you are agreeing to purchase goods from us. We will send you an e-mail to the email address provided (we cannot be held responsible for incorrectly typed email addresses) to confirm that we have received your order & payment successfully.

Once we have received your order it will be picked and packed and you will be notified of dispatch. The time scale of this will vary depending on the time of your order and delivery method you selected during checkout. Under usual circumstances dispatch will be within 2 working days of placing your order, though this cannot always be guaranteed. When your order is dispatched, you will receive another email from us confirming this, if tracking is available for the chosen delivery method this information will be provided.

In the unlikely event that any goods purchased are no longer available, we will contact you via email or phone and offer either an alternative item of equivalent value or a refund for the out of stock item.

Images of products on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Due to the natural origin of most of our products they will likely vary from the image/s shown on the website and from each other if multiples are purchased. This is particularly true of our Pick & Mix range which will inherently vary in size and shape. Items purchased will not include any of the pictured accessories or props, unless clearly stated in the specification of the goods.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible products that appear on this website. All photos on this website are the property of Poodle and Bear and should not be copied, screenshot or downloaded.

Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all product information provided is approximate, correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of uploading and is provided in good faith. All composition lists and analytical constituents have been provided to us by the relevant manufacturer and accepted in good faith, as such we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.

By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy and the terms of website use.

You are provided with access to this website in accordance with these terms and any orders placed by you or on your behalf in respect of any of the products must be placed strictly in accordance with these terms.

You warrant that the personal information that you are required to provide when placing an order or registering as a customer of ours is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. Should you have any changes of personal information these should be notified to us via email.

You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name, address or other personal details you are not authorised to use.

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold Poodle and Bear and our employees and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the terms by you or anyone you are responsible for or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this website, or the use by any other person accessing the website using your shopping account and/or your personal information.

Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out any additional specific conditions related to that Product. Any instructions for use that should be noted are displayed on the product page.

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

We may but are not obliged to notify you of our non-acceptance of an order made by you. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this website whether or not that product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

Payment for goods is required in full at the time of ordering.

We use secure payment processing provided via Shopify for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Visa, MasterCard or most other debit/credit cards as well as PayPal.

Promotional prices and offers are subject to availability.

All prices quoted on our website are in GBP. We do not currently ship outside of the United Kingdom.

Once your order has been placed, changes may not be possible or if they are may incur additional charges or delays. If you would like to request a change to your order please do so as soon as possible via email to info@poodleandbear.co.uk, we will do our best to accommodate change where possible but offer no guarantee of this once an order has been placed.

  

Delivery

Delivery pricing and timeframes can be found here.

We will deliver the goods to the address you specify on your order. We will not accept responsibility for parcels lost, delayed or returned to sender due to incorrect postal addresses provided by the customer. If goods are returned safely to us by the courier, having been unable to deliver them, a refund may be provided at our discretion less the cost of outward shipping and any additional charges added by the courier for returning the goods. Parcels lost due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer will not be refunded.

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly via email or phone.

We cannot be held liable for delivery delays caused by weather conditions, failure on the part of the carrier, strikes, civil unrest, acts of God or any other factors which are outside of our control.

Deliveries are made on the condition that there is reasonable access for the safe and prompt delivery of the goods. You should tell us about any special delivery requirements or conditions in the box provided at checkout when placing your order.

Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include, but are not limited to, things such as staff illness, accidents, breakdowns, fire, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will endeavour to find a mutually agreeable solution as soon as possible however we can’t be held responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know within 48 hours of expected arrival.

We will not accept responsibility for loss, damage, or spoiling of goods if you provide delivery instructions requesting, or instruct the delivery company, to leave the goods unattended at your property, business/place of work or with a neighbour.

If you refuse delivery we are unable to offer a refund/replacement. If the parcel arrives damaged you should accept it as normal and immediately take photos of the packaging and contents to send to us along with your order number and a description showing why the items are unacceptable or unusable.

Whilst we will try our best to accommodate requests where possible, we may not be able to change the delivery address provided after an order has been placed.

Liability

We do not accept liability for any result of feeding, using or administering any products we sell.

You are responsible for your dogs care, safety and the way in which you choose to use our products.

Dog’s should always be supervised whilst eating a treat or chew of any kind and whilst playing with toys. Fresh water should be available to your dog at all times.

Any chew containing bone carries a risk of choke.

If you are at all concerned about adding a new treat, chew or meal topper to your dog's diet you should seek professional advice before doing so.

 

Promotions

On occasions we may run competitions, promotions, vouchers or other offers on this website. Each promotion shall be subject to its own express terms.

Each promotion will be subject to availability at all times. Your statutory rights are not affected.

We reserve the right to cancel, extend or alter existing offers and promotions without notice at any given time.

Offers that include a free or discounted product, are limited to one free or discounted product per order, unless otherwise stated.
